We h=just moved to seville for several weeks, and after not being able to find a rubber ducky in ANY STORE, i called my mom and asked her to bring one earlier this morning (morning of the challenge).
My original idea was to have the duck hanging by a piece of string off of a broccoli tree with a red candle under it, but this morning the strap off my camera BROKE and my 18-200 hit the stone floor from several feet in the air.
Luckily, it hit the edge of the camera and just broke the UV filter, altho it it had a dent and wouldn't screw out; and in spain nothing is open of sundays:(.
So good luck to my second try!

Great lighting and love your set-up...only thing that is missing is the bowl to solidify the idea of soup as that it looks more like this ducky is being roasted over a spit to create roasted duck. That aside your props, lighting and details are well done (love the capture of smoke included in the shot). Definitely will see this in the top 20 methinks.

He doesn't have big, happy eyes like some duckies, and under the circumstances who can blame him? I would think that sort of soup would be ... unpleasantly chewy ;-)
