Grain doesn't hurt it at all. This reminds me of watching it on TV many years ago. I have the laserdisc special edition that has tons of outtakes and alternate versions of songs. I really need to get that movie out and watch it. It came out in 1939, I believe, along with Gone With the Wind. Imagine how they must have looked on the big screen to a 1939 audience.
