 I saw this camera today in an antique / collectables shop. It's a tiny little Pentax which used the old 110 cartridge films (tiny little negatives - a bit like the sensors on some of today's P&S cameras). What made it stand out for me is that this tiny little camera has changeable lenses and manual focus, like a mini SLR. And look at the size of the flash compared to the camera.

I can't even begin to imagine what you mulitply by to get the true range of the lenses. I compared my 50mm to the tiny Pentax one and it brought things a whole lot closer, so it must correspond to well over 100mm.

I'm really tempted to buy it just as a curiosity. I mean, even if one can still get the film (doubtful), I don't imagine the photos would be very good.

Neat photo -- so grainy, it's almost as if you used the old Pentax to take it! I'm unfamiliar with this camera but I remember the old cartridge film. Funny how something so "modern" (I'm dating myself) is now obsolete.

How much did they want for this camera? As you indicated, it would be impossible to get film, wouldn't it? Probably best to admire from afar. :-)

Wow!!!!! I would buy this badboy just to fit a digital sensor to it! What an experiment... may have to paypal you some funds! What were they asking for it?

Great processing of this shot, it looks like a vintage shot and matches the vintage camera :-)

I was working in a camera shop in the mid 70's when this camera came out. The Pentax rep. passed out a bunch of these to the employees to try. It was a really neat little camera. It took very nice shots, if a bit grainy due to the film size. I even took some great night shots with it.

This is a great find. Jack is right. The old Pentax glass is great stuff, although I've never seen this model. I bet it takes pretty good pics. And just to show a few images taken from this little gem would be fun.

I'm definitely jealous.

Hey now it's a Pentax, the images would be very good! No kidding the old Pentax cameras and lens are very high quality! this is very cool! Yeah, you won't be blowing up any 16x20 prints with this one but for a fun bit of history I would buy it...but then I got my first Pentax camera in 1977, (an MX 35mm) I might be a bit biased...and as for film at least here in the States you can still buy 110 film...Great find!!

It's in South Africa, so the value may be very different to what it is anywhere else. It didn't sound a lot to me, though there is slight damage to the edge of one lens (not the glass though) and the lens cap is missing. But I'm seriously considering it anyway.
