 OK, the same exact shot as Day 10, except for the rain.


It's the only photo I took Wednesday that came out. I wanted lightning, but it's trickier than I thought to catch.

I almost used the same view for Day 12, just to show how amazingly clear the air was (compared to Day 10's shot) after the rain.

Someone asked about the dark circles -- I think they are out-of-focus raindrops on the window.

With you being this high up, I bet it is exciting to watch a storm come rolling in. Love the dark moody contrast compared to the other photo.

Now for fun, have you tried taking pictures of people in the other buildings? The white blobby thing in the upper left caught my eye and got my mind wandering... :D

Rain is no fun. It's amazing how different it came make the same shot look though, I recognized it in the thumbnail but didn't realize it was the same shot...very interesting!

Not sure why but this reminds me of the Japanese version (the original, Honogurai mizu no soko kara) of the movie Dark Water, kinda creepy and VERY cool! Love the misty dreamy look!

How cool! And how different the view looks in different weather! Man, I wish I could have some of that rain now. 90 days and counting - dry as a bone and hot as the hubs of hell. But back to your photo. Wonderful atmosphere - it really draws you in.

I love shooting in nasty weather, its harder to get a good photo but when you do they tend to be GREAT.
