Colored Glassesby socalsteveComment: This is cool, but I prefer the B&W version. I think the lack of color makes the other a bit more abstract. |

Day 2 - Wishing She Could Joinby wickee_oneComment: Even without your comments this tells a story. You choice to have her in focus and the background children blur suits this perfectly. Good eye for capturing this moment. |

Fragileby mia67Comment: The composition is perfect here for the butterfly and plant hanging down; it look like it's climbing up. I like the muted colors, somehow it just fits. |

Take Flight with a Book (4/2 II).jpgby karmatComment: Yes, it looks like a bird. I think something like this would be great for educators or a library or whatever. My only suggestion would be to maybe brighten the book a tad.
I like how you put your SC hat on to remind us that you cannot extend the canvas like that! |

Scrawlby bvyComment: This is really cool and there's so much to look at. I've spent a lot more time looking at this than most pictures I vote on. |

Catching the Sapby annigComment: We went to the local maple syrup festival and they showed us how they do it and we even had a small sample. It's become an annual tradition and this reminds me of it. |

1 - Teabagby meneleComment: That B&W conversion and DOF just nails the shot. I like how the teabag is so dark against the white background. |

3-april 08. insects & incidentals. wasp & dropletsby rozComment: Roz, you never stop amazing with me with these macro/overlay images. I'm waiting for the picture of where the wasp (or whatever) stung you because you had to get close for the shot. j/k.
I really like that frame - how did you create it? |
