That thing is HUGE! I like the angle you captured this from - it appears that it's going to slowly move by and still create some gigantic waves.

I love the reflection of the boat in the water, the day seems a bit cloudy but gives a really nice color onto the boat. Great job in showing off the size of these tankers.

Hey Penny, you got the 100-400 working here. The ship almost looks too big for the river. Think I'd prefer the QE2 for a global dream though

This is so majestic. I love photos of boats and ships. This one is huge and so pretty reflecting int he water.

Wasn't there a song by Heart about Steamboat Annie or something like that? NOw I have to go look up the lyrics. LOL

What I love most about these big floating beasts - are the names. And who has the pleasure of giving them their names??? I need to do some research. So stately in black, cream and that delicious brick red.

I would have liked to see this with a nice blue sky, and just a bit of clouds. However, we don't always get to choose what sky we get. I think you did well considering.

Fabulous boat. It's a shame the sky was so flat, it makes the water flat too - the back section of the boat though is wonderfully clear and interesting.
