I really like the tones here and the people (with lampshade of course!) add interest. The new version of Photomatix is pretty good at getting rid of ghosting, but I'm guessing that the haloing is due to setting in Photomatix. Feel free to drop me a PM if you have any Photomatix questions - I've spent waaaaaaaay to much time playing with it but I can usually keep the halos out.

I think I prefer this B&W version slightly more than the color. I feel this one is just a tad bit more emotive.

This is my favorite of the two. The reflections really make the shot. This makes me want to go out and enjoy a nice spring day observing nature, although the weather hasn't cooperated!

Day 4: Balcony

It may not have scored well in the challenge, but it's a nice study of texture in B&W. There's a certain bit of mystery here, I want to know what is behind the window.
