A little PS tweaking here and there. Was going to be my "Centered" challenge entry, but I didn't think it conveyed enough emotion to break through a 5 (which I felt I could achieve based on its technical merits) so here you go, just for you, my challenge reject! :-)

It may not have scored well in the challenge, but it's a nice study of texture in B&W. There's a certain bit of mystery here, I want to know what is behind the window.

Very clean architectural detail in this. Even the shading is centered. Good planning.

My kind of shot - I like windows, I like windows with character, which this one has. Well seen.

If only someone had been looking through the curtain, this would be perfect. Great conversion and nice subject for a centered comp.

Technically very good. This shot really reminds of one i've just seen recently it was exceptionally and think it maybe in the FS.. It's a window from inside a cement building and view is of the ocean thru the window.. Anyhow , this is pretty darn good..

Grand old ballusters. Don't make them like this any more. Like the B&W.

Nice B&W, and you are right that DPC would not have appreciated it enough in a challenge. However we appreciate your sharing it here.

Nice crisp lines and your processing is spot on. B/W fits perfectly with these type balconies.

I love these quaint old balconies. They remind me of Europe or somewhere more exotic than Texas :)

Good bw conversion -- very clean with a good level of contrast. I was going to suggest it would have been a good centered composition entry, then read your comments!
