"Domino"by tmorninglory96Comment: I am trying to make up my mind if you shot this on a red backdrop or if you cut the dog out and put him on a red background (not sure if this is allowed if this is the case even in advanced editing?) The muzzle is too overexposed and it lacks focus. |

Voices From Aboveby roscoComment: This would have been a wonderful shot if the exposure and sharpness had been better. Fill flash would have punched this up quite a bit, there is just too much variation between the highlights and lowlights. It appears that this was underexposed and you tried to bring out the detail in the shadow usinga picture editing package which had just blown out the highlights and left the shadow areas milky and soft. Hope this helps |

mother and a lambby JohannesFrankComment: The dark shadow in front of them spoils this shot, it draws you eye into the black hole. If you were close enough a bit of fill flash would maybe have brought a bit more detail out in that area and made their black faces stand out a bit better? |

Grumpy old manby burtctComment: The low angle on this shot has put the collar and chin in focus but the eyes are soft which is a pity. |

Father & Sonby benhurComment: Cute family shot, just wish you had tried to shoot it outside with more natural daylight and fill flash |

Romanaby rscorpComment: I am not too sure about the reflection in her eyes, wish it had just been a catchlight rather than such a large area of her eye and also it appears that you have dodged over her nose area a bit too much compared to the rest of her face maybe to get a soft focus effect? A bit of burning on her lips would have made her lips look a bit more voluptuous. It also appears that you have tried to blur the green behind her but this has bled into her hair. Hope this helps. |

Mischievousby pidgeComment: Cute boy, the collar being crooked is the sort of thing that you need to watch for a formal portrait, but for informal it works. It would have been better IMO if the lighting wasnt quite so flat, a bit of fill flash or if you used fill, a slightly stronger fill. The leaf in the bottom right corner draws my eye away from his face. |
