I think the idea behind this photo was good. If possible the photographer should have gotten lower to the ground to maximize the reflection. A polarizer would have helped a great deal also. The red thing in the middle of the reflection is a HUGE distraction. Another thing to maximize the contrast in the reflection. . .late afternoon or early morning light.

Suspend the fighter from a tree with black thread and shoot at an angle so that you can see the stars. Get back far enough that you have to use the zoom so you get plenty of Depth of Field. Light it with a porch light or flashlight and do not use flash. Make sure there is no wind to avoid motion trails.

Idea is good; needs more contrast and sharper focus; also move right to use bricks as background to eliminate sticks(?) and trees behind dog on right.
