ei·sop·tro·pho·bi·a -- n - the fear of seeing oneself in a mirror. I set this shot up so that the camera angle would capture some of the mirror's artifacts such as the double image and the reflection from the window.

lighting in center is distracting and not working for the composition

creative idea. Fear in the expression, hurrah!. However, I like photos that are more clear.

Great composition and one of the better photos this week. I think the backlight is a little to bright though.

You made me go to the dictionary on this one, and I couldn't find it. Is it a fear of oneself? I would have liked to see at least one of him focused, which would have brought more attention to your picture. a 4 by Autool

Blurry

Had to look it up, wasn't in two or three of the first dictionaries. The reflection of light almost washed out the right side of his reflection in the mirror. As a result, it loses some of its scariness. Maybe a room full of mirrors would have been more effective. Good idea though. karmat

think too many image details are lost in the glare a tad blurry

I must need a bigger dictionary :) Webster's Unabriged didn't include your title :) The stong light through the window didn't work (for me at least). It washed too much expression out of the reflected face. What I can see of the expression is priceless :)

Fear of mirrors is a new one for me :) I think the focus got soft on both sides of this image and the hot exposure in the center is a bit overpowering as well ... = 6 - jmsetzler

Fear of mirrors! Made me work for this one. Too much movement and glare. Great idea for a less than well known fear. 6 Swash

I like the photo very much, but couldn't find what "eisoptrophobia" was a fear of.
