Launchby zeuszenComment: I like the negative space and the action caught by the bird's lift-off. There is a sense of isolation or tranquility in this image, or both, in this image. I like that. The photo's a bit dark and the bird is small relative to the frame size, which sometimes is a problem for viewers. I'm ok with that, too. |

December-16-07-093.jpgby chaliceComment: I had a bear of a time with the exposure on this one because I was shooting into the sun (which is just up and to the left of the frame). It took a lot of work to bring out the detail from the shadows. |

Macro Day 12by socalsteveComment: I really like the composition of this image. True, it's a bit dark, but that sets the stage for what's going on to the left side of the photograph. This almost looks like a mixed media image. Very interesting and well presented IMHO. |
