Liftoff is always majestic, but that careless flinging of diamond ropes is magic.

I like the negative space and the action caught by the bird's lift-off. There is a sense of isolation or tranquility in this image, or both, in this image. I like that. The photo's a bit dark and the bird is small relative to the frame size, which sometimes is a problem for viewers. I'm ok with that, too.
