The complex crosshatch detail, as viewed from this distance remains somewhat intact, you have made the overlay lines merge in a interesting way. The structure engages the eye, it keeps the ordered design but without a architectural precision. More contrast would probably tend to emphasize negative space, and more accuracy but at the expense of the quiet lighting and atmosphere that is shown. |

Vogue, 1969by JutildaComment: A primer for absolute essentials of feminine style.
Shown here is a glimpse of something living inside women & and to an extent all of us.
The basic timeless female expressions - adornment, hair, eyes, allure of body - universal but unique and presented as a legacy (title is perfect) in the form of a portrait.
J's expression is unlikely to be guarded or defensive (which seems to be hinted at) of a past which is perfectly intrepreted & shown, never ashamed..... never faded, always in bloom. This is MAGNIFICENT - erotically charged - mysterious & cool. |
