I took another, more 'out there' shot than this, but I hated my leg position and couldn't run with it ['scuse the pun].

I love nature though - both high and low - so this is me, as viewed through the eyes of the many humble creatures I love to study.

A very nice image with good composition. Looks like an HDR processed image.
My only nitpick would be that I cant say if the eyes are open or closed.
Bumping up.

Wow, what a creative portrait. Perspective and DOF are incredible in this one. Your use of muted colors and judicious dodge and burn adds tremendous mood to the composition. Great job, should place very high.

Original. I actually like the distortion in the image. Probably becasue I am a litte off myself.
The building in the background is just a bit distracting- my eyes keep wanting to go there and then it leads me out of the frame. That is minor and can easily be fixed ( or not you may like the building). Well this is my 2cents. Otherwise this is a great image. 8

Great perspective! I think the 2:1 crop would have worked better. Cut out the building almost alltogether. I would liked to have seen more facial features too. A reflector would have come in handy in this situation since you are looking down away from the light. Too many shadows. Nit picky really, but I noticed. Great work. 8
