Just me, be nice damnit, OR ELSE! HAHAHAHA! I've edited this shot like 5 times, to leave the white collar or not? I'm leaving it in there, I like it, my wife likes it so it stays. I'm sure DPC voters will mark me down for it but hey, I'm shooting this for me! :P

Yea, that's a Star Wars Tattoo, no you can't have one just like it! hehehee!

Interesting pose, Steve! Three things brought into sharp focus (to my eye, at least!) One, the wedding ring. Highlighted and tight focused. That's a big part of who you are. Two, the sleeves. Were you inspired by the reaction from the reaction of that Colorado photog in Moab? Three, your face. Open, straight ahead, searching. Helluvashot, all in all, my friend.

(Interesting, on further looking, that you have two shirts on, yet are stressing the tats. The white under the black almost looks like a clerical collar. Must've been YOU had the epiphany in Moab!)

Ahh, Steve...I thought this guy looked familiar, but I wouldn't have figured it out if not for your very kind comment on mine! The intense gaze, the hands, forward leaning pose and the tatoos all make for a powerful and compelling composition. Nice contrast, and sharp focus. The BG blur is a little rough around the edges; but I couldn't have done any better. I tried on mine and finally gave up. Very nice image!

I like the lighting of this shot overall. I think the shadows on your face created by the light down in front create sortof a menacing feel (which is good if that is what you were going for). I like the symmetrical composition and I think this works very well in black and white.

Like your use of lighting. Your shirt makes it look like a rebel priest with the white color.

I think you should have cropped this just below you hands so that the inner elbow shadows frame this naturally. (is there a word for that body part???) Would have made for a much more powerful image. excellent tonal range! 7

Cool shot, Steve. The uplight makes you look kinda creepy :) I would have cropped just at the bottom of the arms.

Intense! It has something powerful about it. It also looks like you are looking very closely at what button I am going to push, kind of like "push low and you are dead" :)

Nicely done. I think I'd crop out the shorts and it'd concentrate more on the upper body. Good lighting and expression - very intense.

Steve, this shot is awesome. It really shows off your masculine self and really highlights your tatoos. I like the emphasis on your hands ane the way your wedding band is forefront. Your'e contrasting that "hard" side with your family side. Well done.
