Must admit I scored this a 5. I really like the centered composition and the lines, but the blown out sky and color tones were distractions. Still, a good entry - just not all I think it might have been.

This was WAAYYY underrated IMHO. I scored it a 9 (and would again in a heartbeat!). I think it is soo outrageously funky cool! Keep up the good work!

Great eye for 'seeing' this one. I tend to agree with skip about leaving the family dollar sign in. Great dark piece and perfect use of B/W.

Nice shot. I like the color tones, composition, and especially the crop. Might consider a tad of burning in the upper left and in the grasses just to add a touch more depth. Good stuff.

Wow... This is one of those shots that really pulls it off or completely misses the mark. IMHO, it comes pretty close to the bullseye. The color tones are a nice natural hue, but the bokeh/DOF is just a tad "off" to me. Like I said, it comes very close - just not quite there (and not sure how else to describe it!). The edges of the background flowers seem a bit unnatural - maybe that's it? Maybe I'm grasping at straws. It's a good shot - any way you slice it - as is - so we're splitting hairs. Good capture and I'll leave it at that. :-)

WOW... Talk about getting deep! LOL Love the mythical reference AND the shot itself! :-) The off-balance presentation and almost juxtapositioned embracing tones lend itself very nicely to your interpretation as well. Beautiful shot.

Love the composition/framing of the shot. There's a grainy quality to it though that I'm not sure whether is due to your shot or the Web (I tend to think it may be the latter). Beautiful lines and I love the natural hues. Very nice shot.

I like this image a lot, although I think I would like it even better if it were cropped even closer to the glass - something like a long narrow crop that stretched from the top to bottom. Just a thought. Nice shot with good color tones.

I agree that this is better than your challenge entry. I haven't delved into the space realm yet (I have enough trouble with things that are right in front of me!). Great shot! Love the detail and presentation. Nice job.
