This is a great image, I knew Family Dollar was the begining of the end. On a more serious note the darkness of the image gave the feeling that the end is really near.

I have to see the humor in the dollar store being "the end." HEE HEE

This is well done. I like the urban sense of it.

Great eye for 'seeing' this one. I tend to agree with skip about leaving the family dollar sign in. Great dark piece and perfect use of B/W.

Not sure where this is, but it's the kind of photo that makes me want to know the story behind it - and that's a good thing. The menacing swirl to the clouds and the placement of the sign go together well.

I'm in two minds. Too dark, Not too dark.
I'm going with not too dark.
Now if that neon sign had been just a tad to the right..

Great mood image. Well spotted.

I like the irony of the Family Dollar sign....cool, gritty image. Good work!

I think it's a great image...I'm torn between the cloning of the sign and leaving it in... perhaps have two versions and we can take a look again. I love the sky... incredible capture. :)

leave the family dollar sign. it adds a lot to the image. yeah, the end is near, but, just in case it's not, you can still go shopping for cheap essentials. it's a nice juxtaposition between a spiritual message and a commercial one.

Thanks guys...Yeah...I'm going to get rid of the family dollar sign, lol. But I'm waiting for my new computer to come in next week...so it's going to have to wait for now. Thanks for the comments.

This is really awesome. I'd probably clone out the family dollar sign, but other than that, it's really sweet. Thanks for sharing!

Very dark and brooding. Cool. The tone suits the image. Might try in editing to bring just a touch of brightness back. Just to get a bit of detail from the darkness in the clouds, and broaden the tonal range in general. Not very much though, definitely don't want to lose the mood. Nice shot.

Dark, Moody, and while not my style, pretty interesting, I'm just not sure about theat family dollar sign, you might want to clone it out and see how it looks then, dunno, just an idea...

Wow! Very dramatic. It's very dark, but rightly so. Great job!
