Awesome. And in my case, really, really hits home. Back to add a few words. What makes this work, other than the really good choice of subject matter, is the way the younger women almost seem to be aparitions - ghosts of a faded past or perhaps spirits of the future. They're happy, smiling, have a spring in their step. They contrast the older woman's stoic glare, her somewhat bent posture, her reluctant acceptance of life's conditions. Great catch.

I think you did a great job with the processing on this - it does indeed come across as almost a painting in a way. And the sky and the snow do balance each other nicely. There's a bit of a line running down the front across the snow - you might want to clone that out. The red of the barn is just the neatest color red - really looks nice. Good job with this!

That really, REALLY looks like a great place to go. I like the composition of this alot - with the trees bordering each side and forming a tunnel for the snow and light.

Beautiful! I love the mist and the sun just over the one tree - the green is perfect! The little bit of fencing along the right gives a nice sense of perspective, too. Very well done!
