greetings from the critique club!

i should be diplomatic, but i love this shot. it makes me want to visit croatia even more than i did before.

the color and placement of the subject is great. my only suggestion would be to somehow have tried to eliminate the mass of grass on the left. if you could have moved higher to get more of the fence in the shot, that would have given you some great leading lines right to the subject. as it is, the grass is a bit distracting, but the excellent use of depth of field mitigates it.

congratulations on a fine shot and the great post-processing of it.

I'm pleased to see this finish well - I was quite worried the "but the bush in the front is out of focus!" crowd might pull it down. Very fine work and a lovely photograph.

This is very nicely composed and the low saturation colors work very nicely here. I'm not sure I get the title but then again, there are many things I don't get. Nice shot.

Interesting low viewpoint but I'm not keen on the rather dull and out-of-focus hedge in the foreground that takes up so much of the frame but provides so little interest. I do like the clarity of detail in the woman - her expression and that interesting basket are quite intriguing.

This is what I picture street photography to look like, I think I might have tried to crop out the dominating foreground bush, but I really love it anyway. This is my favorite one so far.
