A little TOO blue in the snow, I think. I'd expect blue, but this may have overdone it by a bit. Quiet and serene, fantastci DOF and texture. Bumping up.

I quite like this. I suspect it will do very poorly, especially because a poorly-calibrated monitor willnot show the separation of branches and sky at the top. But I good score from me, and I admire the urge to post it despite its total deviation from what's considered a "winning" approach in DPC.

Sweet. Feels oversharpened. I'd have liked to see it go the other way, a little bit of softening. The composition also is lackluster.

An intrigoung composition. The water droplet, however, seems an unnecesary embellishment on an otherwsie puer concept. I'd have given it a 9 instead of a 7 if the droplet were not there.

This is an interesting take on the challenge in a couple of ways: the light is self-contained, as it were, it's an internal sort of glow, and the image itself is "heavy", not light. I admire the image on its own terms, and think it's very well done. It does not make my top tier as an answer to the challenge, but I gave it a decent score. Very nice work.

This is very "pure" light and technically quite remarkable. Aesthetically, it's not floating my boatd but I gave it a decent score because a lot of thought clearly went into it, and the result is remarkable in its own way.
