If you GOT to shoot a sunset, may as well shoot this one :-) I'm basically ignoring *just another sunset* shots, but this one's so pure I have to score it top tier; it's *more* than a sunset. Extraordinary reflections, fine spacing of the birds on the diagonal. Shot feels a little leaning-to-the-right to me, though... Nice work!

I'm really not sure how well this fits the challenge, but I keep coming back to it and giggling. I can't really say that *what you shot* is beautiful, you're not *showing* me beauty, but I *do* keep looking at the picture and saying "Boy, that's whacky-but-beautiful!" so I guess it *is* meeting the challenge, eh? Anyway, I like it a whole hell of a lot and hope you do better than i expect you will.

This is quite extraordinary. Technically it's riddled with flaws, but it's a drop-dead capture of a stunning moment, made perfect by the bird flying into the light and slyly augmented by the tiny background bird in the other light patch. Strong score, well-seen.

It made me say "Wow! That's beautiful!" so it gets a strong score from me, even though the foreground is so ugly as to beggar comparison with the sky... Maybe that's what you WANTED, but I suspect you came across this on the fly and didn't have many options.
