The Impossible Triangle

would be hard to add some 'dramatic angle' on this one, since the illusion is solely based on the angle of the triangle itself, but the centeredness doesn't really work for me here. I like the additino of the ball, I think that helps a lot. background being black makes for nothing distracting. focus on the triangle seems soft, but I wonder if it's just the texture that makes it look so?

I remember a shot like this from the first illusions challenge. I like the lighting in this one. I think you did a good job. the shadows add to it in my opinion. Focus and clarity of both the brother and sister are really good and the expressions on both their faces are great. overall really great shot for the challenge, pleasing to look at and quite funny. great shot. ~Heather~

neat illusion. seem obvious how it could be done, but neat non the less. great focus and clarity. lighting is good in my opinion. I wish there were some darker areas of the photo, all seems really grey, but maybe it would look silly that way. ~Heather~

Your background has some dirty spots. Which seems really pointless to me, as this was an advanced editing challenge. Those spots could have easily been removed with some very simple editing. Also, the box is crooked. doesn't look dramatic enough to really add anything to the shot, kind of seems like just an accident. Nice set up though, neat looking, nice colors. ~Heather~

The solid looking upper left hand corner doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the photo to me. Definately has the illusion of someone being trapped under some cement. Focus and clarity seem ok. The hands look unnaturally reddish. Lighting looks good. Not sure about the angle. There really isn't anything wrong with it, but I wonder if a different angle would add more visual appeal. ~Heather~

Sweet pic. Had the lightbulb been lit up, I think that might have been a better illusion, but I still think it's a great shot. I like the color and the focus and clarity are excellent. Love the lighitng around the bulb. The centered comp does work for me for this shot. Congrats on a great shot. ~Heather~

Illusion that the guy is walking one way and the dog is walking the other? Kind of looks like the guy is walking one way, and the dog's being naughty. lol I like the background, nothing distracting there. Where are the footprints? Is that the illusion? Doesn't quite look right without footprints. Lighting is very good. I don't mind the shadows at all. Focus and clarity are great as well. Cute puppy. ~Heather~

The frame appears to be a bit crooked. I'm not sure what the illusion is since we can see it's a picture frame hanging on a wall over top of some wall paper stuff. Unless that's not what it is, I supose. Focus is a bit soft. lighting appears ok to me. wish that maybe the frame weren't directly in the center of the image. seems to be lacking something to make it more visually appealing. Technically ok though. ~Heather~

Definately fits the challenge. The image seems a bit dark to me though. The little humpty (while appearing to be good focus) is not very clear. I wonder if it's cause he doesn't seem lit well, or if it's cause he's very small in the photo? The top of the photo is well lit, I like how the egg blends into the background. The string also adds to the image. Wonder how it would look if the string were not cutting the image exactly in the center? Maybe of center the string a bit? Overall fun image.

Not a very attractive shot, but technically pretty well done I guess. Lighting appears to be good. The underside of the tack is a bit dark, but nothing that distracts from the shot. Focus is maybe a little soft in places, but we can still see the texture of the thumbprints and the blood is pretty clear as well. The negative space is good for the subject. Helps balance the shot I think. I like how the hand looks like a snake coiled up. Odd observation maybe, but interesting non the less. Don't care for the subject matter, but like I said, technically ok. ~Heather~
