Great lighting and attractive composition.
08/14/2005 06:01:48 PM
I understand the crop on this one is important...but the eye placement is what throws me off..as in what they are looking at. It makes the subject look worried which detracts from the composition.

neat illusion. seem obvious how it could be done, but neat non the less. great focus and clarity. lighting is good in my opinion. I wish there were some darker areas of the photo, all seems really grey, but maybe it would look silly that way. ~Heather~

How I am I as a viewer supposed to know that is chocolate milk? Maybe color perhaps. Nice try though, I think I know how you did this. I am not fooled.
08/12/2005 08:41:12 AM
This is a cool idea, but there is just something in the subject face that looks like maybe he is straining. I'm not sure, but maybe if he looked with his whole head in the direction of the arm, just my opinion. I like it though!
08/12/2005 02:36:06 AM
looks like you lied down on the ground and rotated the image 90 degrees - still a great illusion though...7
08/11/2005 02:20:48 PM
I can see that you lie down. Something that does not work here. Cant put my finger on it.
08/11/2005 01:45:51 PM
A very good idea and I love the lighting.
08/11/2005 08:27:03 AM
Very creative shot. I think stonger contrast between the milk and the subject would help sell the illusion even more. Perhaps a lighter colored shirt and/or and some more chocolate to the milk.
08/11/2005 12:23:54 AM
Clever. Certainly works for the challenge.
08/10/2005 04:48:56 PM
Simple but well done... much stronger than a cleverer idea done poorly. Nice lighting, good composition, quirky too. Works well in black and white. I'd have opted for a Tshirt without logo as that interrupts the glass quite a lot.
08/10/2005 04:14:26 PM
Even tho it's not hard to figure out how you did this, the photo quality, comp, etc. really make up for it. Great creativity -9-

its amazing what 90 degrees can do.
Nice set up. great illusion
08/09/2005 10:46:06 PM
Ikea glasses! :) I have those... great shot.

This is kind of like the magic trick thatyou know how how its done but you like watching it anyway. Very crisp and the lighting is great.
08/09/2005 03:12:26 PM
Works for me! Good background and lighting.
08/09/2005 01:13:43 PM
Love this idea! Looks great. 8

Myndin er skýr og fín en þetta hliðarlúkk er svolítið skrítið..
08/09/2005 01:35:53 AM
Not sure that your choice of b/w treatment works in this instance. It kind of hides the illusion that you are trying to show. I think that a different color shirt might help to accentuate the illusion instead of masking it...

really cool idea.
08/08/2005 10:13:59 PM
Well done, good crop to hide the floor :) A neat idea and well composed. 7

Maybe higher contrast? The hotspot on his hair could be burned just a tad. I do like the look on his face. Kinda makes you really look twice. Effective.
08/08/2005 08:32:17 PM
very cool illusion but it gets lost; the shirt is the same color as the "milk" almost
08/08/2005 07:40:11 PM
really well done, lighting, composition and focus look great to me, maybe there could be more color contrast to make the milk more prominant, like a lighter t-shirt
08/08/2005 07:10:48 PM
its rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise :-)
the guys arm is a bit too stiff thats what gave it away.
08/08/2005 06:38:21 PM
Nice execution of the illusion. Would like to see the guy standing straighter in the picture. He looks very tense and the way his shirt is creased, you can tell that he is not actually standing for the shot.
08/08/2005 05:01:55 PM
Love it! Great shot. Simple execution for a good illusion. Nice work.
08/08/2005 03:24:04 PM
Great in B/W great effect. Good lighting. I like it being off centered like that.
08/08/2005 02:08:15 PM
LOL, very imaginative, well executed!
08/08/2005 01:44:38 PM
First Impression: The pure white hurts my eyes a bit, and I think the pattern on the tshirt should have been straight to help the illustration. Tighter crop maybe ?
Was I fooleded? Nice one! I like it.
08/08/2005 01:07:54 PM

08/08/2005 04:45:58 AM
wow awesome!! one of my favs!!
08/08/2005 04:44:38 AM
Nice crisp and sharp image perfect for the B/W conversion. I love the facial expressions and the illusion is pulled off quite well also.7
08/08/2005 02:35:23 AM
love it - particularly that suspicious look he is giving the milk.
08/08/2005 01:10:50 AM
very well done... love the b/w tones here too... 8
08/08/2005 12:44:50 AM
