not quite rightby ordinaryangelComment: Hmmm. Interesting subject. Technicals are all in order. Has a grungy feel to it with the added texture/brush. Personally, not too crazy about the color - but hey, that's just me. :) |

day7by PuckzzzComment: Lovely study in light. Good eye to see this and capture it with correct exposure. Nice job of putting it together to use the diagonals available. |

Day 08 - Hockeyby hajekaComment: This is a really cool shot. I love the action. Had a hard time for a minute figuring out what it was that's on the ground. Didn't realize at first it was another player. :)
Very good detail and tonal range with this. Well done! |

Noisy onion.jpgby ATAPEComment: I like the gritty/grainy feel to this. Works quite well actually, for me anyway. :P Always fun to experiment...never know what you'll get.
Have fun! |

Day 2 - Water Troughby BarbBComment: Very nice rustic scene that works well in B/W, sepia may even be better. :)
Tough to figure the angle on this when you're shooting it I imagine with that pole on the right. Did you get any shots closer to the barrel, where the barrel and end posts are the primary subject? Just a thought.
Good eye to see this. Nice! |

day-5by digitalpinsComment: Can't help but wonder, where the heck this is!? :) Some warehouse doors?
I like the POV you've used for this shot. Just enough hints to let me know what it is, but I'm still left wondering why, who, and where?
Good eye to see this. Nicely done! |

Day-Six.jpgby RoosterComment: This has a mysterious, surreal feel to it. Almost ominous in a way, like it's a shot for 'What lies beneath'. Something spooky is coming out of that water, I just know it! :)
Very crisp, well put together image. Nice! |

Day7.jpgby FotoMunkiComment: Great subject for a B/W photo, and the setting really works too. What makes this work for me is the tail - the detail jumps right out. There is also some natural vignetting in play here. If I was to make any suggestion it would be to give that eye just a touch with the burn brush.
Good timing on this catch! |

Day 7: The Spiderby jasonlpriceComment: Sharp. Very nice detail on the spider. I like the bokeh personally.
Not sure how you could get more detail in the web. The spider and the web are at an angle with the web fading/angling away. You'd have to use a much deeper aperture to get the detail, but then the background would be distracting I think.
Hope your next visit goes well with "her". :) |

Day 06 - Pattern Ballby WalesPComment: Clever, simple, fun! I like the detail and clarity.
You should get the ball wet and roll it on some colored paper to see what kind of patterns you do get. Would be fun! |
