MINI. LET'S MOTOR.by JEFFJSBComment: At first glance I thought you must have a helluva big studio, then it hit me. Is that a R/C car (noticed the antenna/wire on the top)? Excellent and simple composition for a billboard. Good job! |

FMT 2106.jpgby scottwilsonComment: I know I'm probably totallly wrong, but is this the highway you take from Laughlin up over to get to the 40 in AZ by Kingman? |

Pepto Splashby TelehubbieComment: Thanks for all the great votes! I really didn't think it would place as high as it did, especially with all the nice photos that were entered. I wanted to do something different with pink, turns out there were like 4 other Pepto shots. Message edited by author 2005-03-08 13:18:04. |

Credit Painby sir_bazzComment: I think this shot would be a lot better with the whole credit card in full view and numbers visible. ;) Nice shot. |

Pull Overby TelehubbieComment: For those that wondered how I did it, here ya go:
It was a model of an F-117 that I hung with thin 2 pound fishing line from a board tied to the roof-rack of my car. The parabolic mirror helped with the illusion to make it look farther away than it really was, and made it impossible to see the fishing line. It really was only about 3 feet or so away from the mirror.
I used black electrical tape to tape the fishing line to the model so that it would blend in to the model and using 2 lines I was able to keep it from twirling around and keep it (sort of) parallel to the car.
The highway that this is on was busy that time of morning, so I had to park right next to the sign which didn't give me many composition options, and I had to hold the camera low inside the car and just shoot without being able to see in the viewfinder to get everything in view. A lot of trial and error. Message edited by author 2005-12-12 12:45:19. |

Cadiz-Cathedral.jpgby dpdaveComment: Gorgeous!!! The only (minor) thing that I would change is seeing the cars. I don't know the location parameters, but if there was a way to get down a few feet toward the river(?) that wall could have blocked them. You should put this one in DPCPrints.
