Very nice and creepy, excellent job in the tecnical end as well! A friend of mine is the actual actress who plays "Samara" in The Ring 2. She was the stunt double in the original. She's a beautiful lady, 3 hours of makeup everyday to cover it up! I'll have to send her a link to this, she'd really get a kick out of it.

Another great example of the creative mind of SCalvert? (please excuse me if I'm wrong.) This is GREAT, and an excellent take on the challenge!!! Composition, lighting are all superb, and the fall leaves are a nice touch. Well done!

Very nice. I'm not sure what you want to do with the sky, but you could cut this sky out and use a gradient fill to give you more blues to it and match the color of the reflection in the marsh more. I don't have PS with me at work and don't know the steps offhand or I'd walk you through it. Beautiful scenery here.

Oh my, looks like you shaved a bit too much! lol This is great! I can't look too long at this while at work, people might get the wrong idea and I'd be stumped to try to explain. Nice lighting and composition to make this look like what it's supposed to be (I think). Great conception, uh... wait, I mean imaginiation.

Wow! I didn't get to vote on all entries, but this one would have gotten a definite 10 from me. I love how pure and innocent the girl is, contrasting to the dark and graingy surroundings. She looks like a little China doll! Keeping the leaves in the foreground is a nice touch too. Excellent!!! You should definitely put this on DPCPrints.

Wow!!! I give it a 10 just for getting Jeff Gordon to model for you! Very cool shot with the sun setting in his shades. I'm thinking this is done by the talented SkipRow, but I'm probably wrong. Very nice, and I'm not even really a Nascar fan. Very sellable.

Only one small criticism which is that there seems to be some strong NeatImage or noise redcution applied, which has removed some of the realism.

Thanks for the nice comment Imagineer. Coming from you, that's like Eric Clapton telling a kid in a garage band "great music." :-) And thanks to all for the nice comments.

Nope, no Neatimage or noise reduction in this one (it does look like it though). The building is made of stainless steel plates, and is really smooth all over.

The title is right... beautiful model, beautiful "natural" portrait. Nice soft lighting and nice composition. There is some softness to this photo that I'm sure is only due to resizing for here (I see the image size is only 30 kbytes). If using Photoshop (I think PS Elements too) resize to 640 and resharpen a bit first, then save for web for a file size just under 150KB. Other programs probably have similar features. An incredible capture of the Orion Nebula (I think) M42 and M43. I can't wait to see the data on this shot! I'm amazed at the almost non-existent noise level here for what I would think would be a pretty long exposure. Damn, I need a telescope!!! I hope people here appreciate this shot, this is photography on a different level. Nice job!
