Truly awesome. Realizing the date it was taken, the title is so appropriate. An amazing shot.

Ehh, the little squirt is getting old, yet not aging as well as some the elder statesmen in his sport. And, shoot, when will they ever figger out that the sunglasses don't make the man.
This is a good shot, though the patch on his hat appears to be in better focus than his face. Good use of a mono-color background. This would make a good picture to autograph, but those darn sunglasses...

I Really like this picture. I can almost see the intensity in his eyes even though they are covered. Very powerful in my opinion. Excellent!

well, wasn't expecting that. great clasic pose. there is A LOT of noise in the frame and that really really pulls the quality right out of the shot. I like reflection in his glasses that puts some back though. overall, if the noise wasn't so present it would be a much better shot

Very good portrait. I like the way the sunset is reflected in the sunglasses. I just wish the face was a little more in focus. It seems the camera focused more on the hat and jacket. Other than that, this truly is a stunning shot of a very handsome man.

This is a good shot. The reflection in the glasses is a great bonus. Good focus and nice colour. I think that a tighter crop might have made a more dynamic image ... perhaps cropping some from the left side and the top.

Kinda an Ironic Title since he didn't make it into the Chase.
Very Nice photo, even it is wasn't Gordon. The Reflection in his glasses makes the shot..

his face is a touch soft, but given how he has been racing lately this is a great miage on a purely photographic ( except afore-mentioned quibble ) and as a metaphore of his career.

Fantastic photo, but more of a candid than a portrait IMO.

Wow!!! I give it a 10 just for getting Jeff Gordon to model for you! Very cool shot with the sun setting in his shades. I'm thinking this is done by the talented SkipRow, but I'm probably wrong. Very nice, and I'm not even really a Nascar fan. Very sellable.
