Portrait of a Bull Riderby SJCarterComment: One of my favorites in this challenge! I love rodeos, and have rarely seen a shot that I like as much as this one. It looks ever so slightly desaturated, and if so, it was a great choice - if not, I don't know what you did but it works wonderfully. |

On Her Wedding Dayby PhotoTessComment: What a great shot, and perfect for this challenge. This shot just reeks of emotion, without a single face in view. |

Free and hidingby BoltiComment: I am a huge hi-key fan, and I love this. Love the way she just fades off into negative space. Nicely done. |

Child's Playby nordicComment: Very sweet, I like this a lot; and there is just enough of the face left out to make it a successful "faceless" entry. |

Robertby AlexSaberiComment: Absolutely beautiful! I love the way the subject fades off into negative space all the way around. |

study hourby zheka78Comment: I really like to see people stick to the spirit of the challenge, so for me, there is just too much of her face in the shot to make this a really successful "faceless" entry. That being said, if she was intended to be the subject, I find that my eyes are drawn to the white of the vase first, the red stalks second, the white papers third, and her face last. |

Shoes to Fillby mrsmaxsmartComment: A sweet photograph, really, but I would rather have seen something softer, such as a light colored soft scarf wrapped around the "waist", than the pants/jeans. The photo has the potential to be quite lovely with just a little added touch to make it even more high-key. |

Olga 1924by kevrobertsonComment: I normally vote all the way through before I begin to comment, but had to comment on this now. It looks almost like a magazine or newpaper photo that has been scanned. I'm not certain about the processing you may have used for this shot, but I am certain that I do not care for it. The photo is generally very soft, and to me, messy looking; and her eyes are absolutely dead center, which I also do not care for. My eyes are drawn more to all the "stuff" in the photo, than to the subject itself. Had this been a crisp candid, especially if you could really see her eyes well, I would have given it a better score. 5 |
