Taken at the VA State Fair in Richmond.

PP included NI, crop, levels/curves, Mr. Contrast filter, sepia filter, dodge/burn brush, blend brush to clean up a few spots on the horse's legs, save for Web.

that a WOW shot! - the bull seems to be looking at the camera which makes it almost creepily cool.

hey... i think your shadow boost editing was very helpful. maybe just a bit overprocessed in spots...i wish you had gone a step further and burned down the background including the other cowboy, as it is highly distracting as is. if you could have gotten this guy singled out in more of the middle of the ring it would have been a great shot. Of course, the bull looking at you is kind of funny, but if that was to be the focus of the image you would have had to call it "Portrait of a Bull" and then you'd be getting all sorts of DNMC comments right now.

Wow, great action shot. Perfect balance between motion blur and sharpness. Perhaps I would have blurred the background a little bit more in PP. Good luck in the challenge! (10)

One of my favorites in this challenge! I love rodeos, and have rarely seen a shot that I like as much as this one. It looks ever so slightly desaturated, and if so, it was a great choice - if not, I don't know what you did but it works wonderfully.
