I love Christmas lights, and this photo made me smile. I can't make out if this is a park, or a home, or what, exactly. I like the colors, and you did a good job of exposure getting the lights, but still leaving all that negative space. Something about the composition is a little "off" for me, though I am not sure why. Moderate to high impact for me. 8. lhall

Great shot. All of the repeating forms, the black and white, good composition, and the clarity of the shot all make for a terrific photo. It doesn't have a lot of emotional impact for me, but I still think it is a great photo. 9. lhall

This shot is pretty high impact for me. I love the coloring that you chose, and love the repetition of the arches, and the lines of the ceiling beams and the pews. I did not notice until I looked at it for the third time, that there was a person in the shot!! I would have loved to have seen this in color. 9. lhall

Angel's flight

An interesting shot, especially since you were able to capture the bird in flight - I think it adds to the appeal of the shot. I like the look of the angel against the gray sky and the stark, bare trees. It definitely has a sort of "other-worldly" feel to it. Composition works well for me. I think my favorite thing about it is that everything is backlit, and in silhouette. 8. lhall

I like the composition of the leaf, and like that the bright colors are placed against a cold, dark background. The circular rim, or edge or whatever it is, adds interest, as does the water on the leaf. It's a nice shot, and I like it, but it does not have a lot of emotional impact for me. 8. lhall

I like this shot very much. I was trying to figure out if that was a poster or advertisement of some kind in the background, but whatever it is, it adds an interesting element to the shot. You've captured the individual beautifully. 9. lhall

I love the shot, especially that it is b&w, and your composition is terrific. I feel as thought I want to see *more* through the opening of the driftwood, but that doesn't bother me a whole lot. 10. lhall
