| I love it! Great colours and textures here. The water juxtaposes against the grime and decay really beautifully. The composition is spot on, and the light is soft enough to make that blue glaze on the pottery almost glow. Very nice work. |

| I like the subtle difference in the wet part of the leaf and the dry part. The white light reflections add to this shot in my opinion. I think they put just enough variation in the photo that it stays interesting. The colors is very nice, as is your focus and clarity. Good shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

| I like the compliment of the curves from where the leaf is sitting as well as the water and straight lines in the stem and veins on the leaf. Nice colors and lighting. The only thing distracting me is the the section of the leaf on the lower left does not seem to have as much focus on it. = 8 |

| The colours in this shot are great, giving a good contrast between the leaf and the background. The diagonal of the leaf is also good for leading the eye into the shot, but the waterline along the top of the frame is a bit distracting. A slightly deeper DoF would get all of the leaf in focus, including the nearside, which I think would help this image. |

| great contrast with the background.. a good choice!! if I were to try it, I might see what the entire leaf looked like being wet, while still keeping the water pooled as it is... that might help with the glare on the middle finger of the leaf.. then again, maybe not... good luck! |

| nice colors, the orange and blues and water. it looks like the leaf is in a bowl of some kind. if the dark part of the picture at the bottom is water in the bowl, and the bowl is blue underneath the water, i would have liked to see the blue there instead of the black. it would have kind of completed great color and quality you have in the rest of the photo. |

| Good composition. I really like the blue of the bowl. I wonder if you've over sharpened a bit. The parts of the leaf out of the water look unatural somehow. Good shot. |

| I like the composition of the leaf, and like that the bright colors are placed against a cold, dark background. The circular rim, or edge or whatever it is, adds interest, as does the water on the leaf. It's a nice shot, and I like it, but it does not have a lot of emotional impact for me. 8. lhall |

| While personally to me composition-wise, this is an everage image; the textures, colours and clarity make it stand out. I especially enjoyed the way the light is reflected of the water on the leaf. Good job! |

| The focus seems a bit blurred on teh left side of the leaf. I like the picture's set up, but the contrast between light and dark seems a bit harsh, probably because of what parts of the leaf were wet, and what parts weren't. overall not bad. |

| This is a beautiful, high quality photo which I like a lot. The only change I would make is to crop slightly lower on top. I find the brownish spot on the top slightly distracting. |
