This is good! The lighting is nice, and I love the texture and detail in his face. The black and white processing really adds to the whole appeal of this one too. I can't imagine it being this cool looking in color.

Why aren't you happy with it? I like it. I really love the centered composition in this one. It fits with the terraine and the overall look of the photo perfectly. I'm really not a big fan of the desert -- but you have made it quite appealing.

I wonder if you did a vignaette layer so you could only barely see the chairs on the right but the middle part was lit up ??? I love the photo just like it is. It just has a great mood to it.

Wow! I LOVE these photos. Both of them are so strong! I think I would love to see them by themselves -- just to see them full size and soak in the textures and the drama of each one closer up. That is such an amazing place for photography. I hope we see lots more of your work from that place. And again, your lighting is exquisite.

Oh, I LIKE it! I'd love to do a photo shoot with just that guy. One of those character shoots showing all the lines and wrinkles and stories in the eyes. And speaking of stories, I love the story that the ship, the water, the black and white tones tell in this photo. You feel like you are looking at something from a different time.

Ohhhh. . .this photo makes my heart hurt. It touches many memories of faces I grew to know and care about when I would visit my dad. Especially the expression on the mom's face looks so desperate and heartbroken.

It is a very emotive and strong photograph.
