Perhaps the most dramatic sky in this challenge with an endearing subject so well placed, like saying, look: it is about me, but look at this sky. Amazing and bumping up several notches. Good luck and possibly the best composition.

A sweey and very tender study. though posed, it has a very natural feel and the wicker and dried flowers lend it a very friendly . Good lighting and good attention to background. Bumping up two notches.

Spring Flowers

A well done composition. Beautiful arrangement with texture one can touch. being that these flowers are as delicate I would not have opted for the strong dark regression into the right. Not all is lost because the well lit areas carry the day. Placing at 6 on my initial pass. I will return. Bumping up.

The Bearded Lady

A very lovely specimen, however, I want to see both wings sharp and yes, I know that these are very difficult shots, but I would have hung around and come back until I got one with wings closer. This is not to say that your effort is a failure. The colors are great and the foliage has a pastoral feel. The black and orange with white is jyst great. Bumping to 6

Come Closer

This is a trip and an image that leaves a burnt impression in the mind of the viewer. The clarity of the reflection bogles the mind and almost makes this image a transvestite into another photography style. It is both conventional and modern!

The eye has no choice but to lock right in. It looks about but it can not get enough of the eye. This is by far the most hypnotic image in this challenge expertly captured. Bumping you to 7. This vote is certain to hurt me because I am way below 7. But I rather you receive your due credit for this lovely image. Mind you, it is an image whose beauty may be lost to some voters. Great effort: great study.

The Beacon

this is a clean crisp image and a calendar type one. Caught too closet to the apex of the sun which is not the best for a dramatic effect. Yes, it is attractive and the colors are very nice and the technique is good, However, the image remains static.

Yet the good exposure brags about the good sand rendition. The texture here is convincing and the the composition is pleasing. 6

All the Good Things

This is a nice study but I am not crazy about the slight harshness due to tonal limitation and high contrasts look. I think it is a good photo but my feel is that this image may look better in B/W.

Despite what I said, the image does draw the eyes, but these images are mood related. You will find many folks grouping around one image because it imparts serenity and another group about the more dynamic while others love storm clouds.

The compostion is great. Bumping up to 6

this image is very nice because the composition is very strong. However, the lack of clarity does not offer the reward the eye looks for. The beautiful blue sky contrasts well with the zone 1 foreground. But the center of interest does not sing. despite all this the general feel us smart and very attractive. 6
