I liked the idea of this. I was one of your 6's. I think part of my problem is too much of the image is take up by tough subjects to make interesting -- concrete wall and asphalt. Perhaps a slower shutter speed , giving some motion blur across the expanse of concrete and asphalt, might reinforce the feeling of a passing glimpse and add a bit of visual interest.
