The Countryby terjeComment: Great colors and a wonderful sky make this image really stand out. It may seem a bit too centered, but the bales in the right background help mitigate that. The merger between the closest bale and the one behind shouold have been prevented by changing position a bit. |

San Xavierby ArmadilloComment: Isn't Tuscon an amazing place? I shot that mission over a three-day perion over lNew Year 2003. Your blue sky is perfect against the white building. Composition is effective and exposure could not be better. |

Curious Bugby joebokComment: The blurred background is a very interesting and a good way to highlight the insect - with the exception of the very bright white spot on the bottom left edge.
The insect is a very small part of the image and is fairly centered - not really as effective as it could be. Great coilors. |

New Hubba bubba girlby ConcreteDonkeyComment: This is one of those desturations that really works better than ot would in full color. The black and white rendering is perfect with grat crisp white and loads of black blacks. Then there's you model! What a perfect expression on a lovely young lady. Were you able to get a shot right as the bubble burst? I expect you will be up in the straosphere with the score on this. |

In My Dreamsby wickedpeteComment: Great take on the challenge and very well done. The only problem I have is the choice of the whitish hat as it becomes the point of highest contrast. Everything else, the pose, your model, the setup, lighting......EXCELLENT. |

Graveyardby emorgan49Comment: This is an exceptional image with loads of impact. Composition is very nice - with the excption that I'd like to see the flag less centered. The flat lighting is exactly right. You should finish way high! |

A Rooster's Stareby kim100878Comment: Wow! This really sings - perfect focus - crisp as can be. Colors are vibrant and are enhanced by the background colors. My only complaint is that it's cropped a bit too close as I'd like to see more of the red top notch (or whatever it is called.) |

Solitudesby zeuszenComment: A true work of art. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the jogger. It does provide some scale, but that scale makes the bird seem gigantic. I love the black background that makes the bird relly pop and the muted brown in the foreground. There is a train to a town called "Ribbonsville" you should hear it approaching. |

All Heaven Declares!by aaronb532Comment: My oh my - what a classic! The placement of the barn is perfect - without it the dead centered mountain would be problematic. The soft colors are remarkable as is the sky's pallette. The ONLY thing I would do with this is remove the border.
You should be in the close vicinity to a town called "Ribbonsville." |

Brillianceby timj351Comment: You've created a very magical image that has a lot of impact. The dark shape of the tree limbs at the top are especially nice against the yellow leaves. The only negative comment - true or not - is that it looks a bit "unreal" due to post processing. (If that's not so - sorry for the comment. But no points deducted for that anyway.) You should finish way up there. |
