I really like your photo, compositionally it's one of my favorites. There is a lot of latitude in the highlights and shadows and you did a good job of capturing the best parts of both. You kind of shot yourself in the foot though by submitting such a small file. This kind of picture should be brutally sharp and if you had used the whole 150k it would have been better.

Ouch! Interesting idea. About the only thing I might mention is the skin tones appear to be a little off. You might try and take a little blue out and see if that helps. Otherwise, I like your entry.

I like your picture very much, it's an excellent example of texture. I only wish it was brighter. If you had made the lightest parts white while keeping the shadows black it would have been much more dramatic.
