For my 1st submission to the site, I guess 50% isn't too bad.. Thanks for the comments, you might want to check my outtakes... Maybe I should have submited the other rabit pic with "eyes, a foot, and more depth" :)

I like it! Not sure if this looks furry or sharp, but I want to touch it and find out.

Nice texture, but I'd like to see more context... 4 sjgleah

that rabbit's fur has a lot of texture, but imo there's a focal point missing to your photo. just something that interrupts the consistency of the fur. maybe an eye or something like that. also, there seem to be two long hairs hanging down from the top of the photo that are slightly distracting. -- gr8photos (4)

Meets the challenge of texture. Not a terribly interesting photograph but the focus is sharp. *5* -balynch

This would have worked better for me if I could tell that it was a rabbit without you telling me in the title. Maybe show his foot, or his ear, or something?? That would also give some depth. 7

This is a neat texture shot, but if it's a rabbit, I wonder why you didn't include some of his face or ears? This would have added some three dimensional qualities to this photo rather than having a flat image... = 5 - jmsetzler

That looks so soft. I think maybe a different angle would make this more interesting. karmat

Fairly well focused, and shows texture, but not really interesting. This is another "wallpaper" shot, which could have been better by shooting a closeup of the rabbit's head. The only thing this photo does is to show the texture - it doesn't demonstrate any other photography skills.

Fur... a definitely nice texture, but photo doesn't make me want to touch and feel...

For those that are just learning, like me.

Composition: Scoring in this area is based on basic composition of a picture and includes the rule of thirds, balance, cropping, and curved and diagonal lines. Subject matter that does not lend itself to the picture or otherwise unwanted is also considered here.

Originality: Scoring in this area is based on pictures or concepts that I have seen, as well as how much effort you have invested in the picture. Usually a little something that sets it aside from a snapshot. Does it make me want to come back for another look? You know things like that.

Technical Aspects: Focus, exposure, lighting, and other special effects (done by the camera), and post processing are all considered in this category.

Meets Challenge: This is based on my interpretation of if you, have/have not, met the challenge. This is fairly simple but quite important for this site.

There are many sites that can give you assistance in achieving better skills in photography, but I think the best way to learn is to take pictures and show them to other people. Believe me when it is a good one you will know it.

Good luck!

beautiful fur.

Good texture shot. It would have been among my favorites if you had pulled back a little and encluded some identifying part of the rabbit so I could see what it was without the title.

Cant help thinking that this would have been better in colour.

Just a bit over exposed,a little tweaking with the light/dark,contrast would help.
