The blown out hair on the right and the eye in the center are distractions for me. Plus, the photo doesn't say September to me, but of course that is very subjective and doesn't affect your score from me. 5

Nice shot of popcorn. I wonder if a different background would have brought it out more. Of course, maybe you were going for a high key look and in that case, I find the shadows to be a distraction.

The picture does say December, but the composition of the cards strewn about doesn't create much interest for me. There is no focal point as all the elements seem to carry the same weight. The result is the eye wants to move on.
