Took me a minute to recognize what I think it a tobacco barn. I might a have tried a larger crop.

I am very drawn to this image. I think it is a bit too tightly cropped to be balanced - the building dominates the frame so strongly, leaving you without a real place to rest the eyes. In a perfect world, I would like to see a bit of a highly colored accent, but these are all musings triggered by a great shot to begin with.

when you're competing against bigger images you loose with a smaller one, no matter how nice it is

This is nice. But I feel it needs a little more of the scene to the upper left for balance. The opposite corner is perfect however. Meats the challenge very well. 7.
