Except for the reflected lamp midframe to the left and the reflection artifacts at the top, this would be a 10. Wonderful image. Bright. Beautiful focus. Love the Mondrian rectangles. Cute model. Absolutely terrific composition. Might be a little heavy on the noise reduction but I can certainly live with that. Then there's that darn lamp. Still a great shot! Deserves a top 10 if not a ribbon.

"Shape" gets lost in the busy-ness of the subject for me. Decent image. Make it bigger next time ... use all 640 pixels available to you. PM me if you want to discuss size.

Composition is okay but desaturating the image didn't help in this instance. For this to score highly in my estimation, I would want to see anatomically correct texture in all the fruit (i.e. knock my socks with great texture!), which implies greater DOF, very precise focus plus somewhat different lighting. These are my preferences and you may disagree.

Based on the thumb, I expected this to be a ho-hum-been-there-and-done-that image. What a pleasant surprise. Colors and contrast help distinguyish it from the genre. Nice crop with thoughtful foreground/background shapes. Great fit for the challenge theme. Very well done. Among my top picks.

Not an especially new idea but very well executed. You have done a nice job capturing a wide spectrum of light levels. The shape is intrinsiclly interesting. The shadows, while subtle enhance the overall image. Lighting is subtly effective. Great job!

Rotating your image was a superb post processing decision. You have taken a good image and fit it to the challenge so much better this way because it emphasizes the shape, and creates interest trying to figure out what I'm looking at. Very well done!

Not to trivialize your photo, but I really like the slack lines and the curves they make. There may be lots of other nice aspects, but you've captured the lines superbly!
