Now that is a unique perspective. It took a bit to figure it out.

Excellant perspective. A real eye catcher.

Forgot to rotate?

is it sideways???
01/09/2006 05:18:52 PM
confusing view

Rotating your image was a superb post processing decision. You have taken a good image and fit it to the challenge so much better this way because it emphasizes the shape, and creates interest trying to figure out what I'm looking at. Very well done!

Is the rotation deliberate? It does make things more interesting. Some will love or hate the effect. I like it.

Interesting scene. To my eye, though, the rotation really detracts from the image.

this picture confuses me because of the way it is sideways
01/06/2006 08:55:24 AM
Nice. I like the idea of flipping the image like that.

The use of light and shadow really adds dimension to this image. You really nailed the depth of the room and the detail of the shapes.

Interesting twist, but I think that right-side up would have worked better and would be just as interesting, as the stairwell opening looks like a door. You had me twisting my neck around to view it!

This picture had me twisting my head like a confused dog, then suddenly I said "Ohhh, I've got it!"

nice pic but I don't like turning my screen sideways to view a pic. I would have scored higher otherwise.

I like this shot, but I think it would have worked a little better vertically oriented.

Was this meant to be wrongly set? Focus looks poor too. 2

While i was going through the thumbnails, this image really struck me, and i came back to it a couple of times before i began voting. I like the subdued colors and use of shadows, along with the sinuous shapes.
