Treesby ElaineComment: The diagonal slashes of vivid green and black convey strength, for me. While it is a very powerful, masculine image the nuanced color variations in the green suggests a touch of the feminine. I could see this as a picture hung over the fireplace in some bachelor's pad. Nice work. |

The Chiffon Forestby chaliceComment: This is so incredibly delicate and soothing. The soft breeziness is very lulling - like lying in a hammock and letting the palms rustle above. The title defines the sensation of this wispy creation most effectively - chiffon. Wishing you the best in earning a place in the front page line up. |

River Alderby jackd49Comment: The blue and brown diagonals across the bottom provide a lovely foundation for the more vertical striations of the green. With the green functioning as the main movement in the image, a nice basic form has been crafted. The undulations of varying color within the green, brown and blue gently guide the eye through this dreamy creation. A most arresting visual sensation. Best of luck. |

Open Floor Plan by giantmikeComment: Congrats! In Wisconsin? Wow - I guess it has been a long time since I've visited this beautiful state although for a brief time there was consideration of attending the Lumberjack competition in Hayward this year. Anyway, I've digressed.... well deserved HM. |

Alien Organicby GeorgesBogaertComment: Well, this is certainly different. While I like the varying depths (foreground to background) of the tubular forms, the highly chaotic angles don't resonate, for me. The erratic angles don't guide my eye through the image or to a particular place in it. The color is fabulous, though. |

verdant reduxby mefnjComment: For me, this has a blue ribbon already pinned to it. Despite the screaming green it is calming in its undulations with the cream colored edges of the leaves(?) running diagonally through it. The darker upper left adds a bit of mystery and the hard vertical line on the right has that halo of yellow suggesting a ray of sunshine. Simply beautiful. Best of luck! |

Sweepby PennyStreetComment: There is a ghostly sense to this but a good ghostly, feminine - like a Wizard of Oz emerald sylph. I like the fact that one gets an almost-in-focus peep of the trees - a check back to reality. Lovely. |
