Not sure what the selective desat. achieves here as the image by intself is attractive enough. Perhaps if you had left the colour in the wood above the window it might have balanced it out.

Clever image but I think it's not as it appears. Having a book filled with these photos at home I'm sure the egg would shatter and explode outwards much more violently. The round is also captured with much too much clarity and the outside setting is a giveaway - these shots require sensors and very precise strobe firing...only indoors conditions will do. Picture looks great though!

Well done for getting a really good result with your dry ice shot...I've tried this in a challenge and always had difficulty getting enough light/fast shutter speeds so that the vapour didn't look blurred. By the way, do you work in a lab as well?

Is this infra-red? Might explain the long exposure. Great surreal effect and very well composed too.
