I like the composition, showing it rising out of the mist above the other buildings. Reminds me of the cover of an old Sci-Fi magazine ... as much as I like this hazy look, I'd also be tempted to try colorizing it rather garishly : )

interesting inversion: usually it's the end of a tower which is lost in the clouds. Is this real or post-processing?

Great picture, Ilike the way the base of the tower fades into the mist.

Not the worlds tallest building, it’s the worlds tallest tower @ 1815 feet. But that does not take away from your photograph. I like the way it seems to be foggy at the bottom and clear at top. I think you did a good job taking the photograph with good lighting, focus, and I like the toned down color. Good Job!

Wow. Great work bringing out the details of the tower against a relatively bright lit sky. Love the hazy transition to the bottom of the photo. Adds a distinctive artistic touch.

Love the way it's so tall that it rises above the clouds. Nice shot.

Not sure if the mist is real or not but still a stunning and simple image.

Well, worlds tallest tower... this is a great photo though - very elegant portrayal of something you get to see quite a bit on this site. i love the greenish tinged mist at the base of the shot, gives a very nice feel to the overall composure. not entirely sure if the narrow width of the picture is to my liking, but overall, great stuff. 8.

I dont think it is anymore... there some building in shanghai or something (equally phallic) - but either way, this is a gorgeous shot thanks to the fog/smog.
