"Neglected"? the stones look "Vandalised". What is the red on these stones?. Nice colours and DOF but a portrait framing may have showed more of the stones and improved the shot.

Strange crop. I'm not sure that the tree on the left helps your composition at all? Makes the photo seem a bit unbalanced. The deep DOF also flattens the two rows of relatively uninteresting gravestones together, exactly the wrong effect for this shot IMO.

Just read the sory on NAT (Nordic Adventure Travel). Well done for submitting something different but this close crop doesnt really show me the "Final Resting Place" of the British Trawler. If the beach cove is as beautiful as it sounds why not step back a bit and show the wreckage in it's surroundings?

Beautifully crisp and great B&W tones. Love the shadows of the trees. Great shot.

The two colour figures make for an interestng focal point and give the snse of searching through the vast graveyard for the grave in question. Personally I think you could have achieved the same "message" by getting in a bit closer and making more of the figures. Nice message though.

Comment:
Th elight is a bit harsh and the subject a bit boring. Try a different angle, lie down on the ground, stand on the gravestone and shoot down. The featureless (near) stones and the expanse of boring wall just make this a bland shot...sorry.

popular idea but this one just doesn't cut the mustard for me. Perhaps the two plinths are too bright and distracting taking the focus from the well executed "spirit" figure. sorry
