 For those interested in how I did this...I selected the cross, cut it into a new layer and used the mr.contrast filter (found on flamingpear.com) to get the contrast. I used levels on the sky layer to bring out the contrast. neatimage was not used. Thanks for all the kind comments.

Im a huge fan of cemetary shots. Not because they are morbid, but because they are usually sat somewhere pretty.

Hey Wendy! you came so close again to another ribbon, but don't worry...ribbons are overrated...this image was definatly one of the winners I thought. I was givng you a ten, and then changed it to a seven because Im such a picky voter and didnt see enough texture in the tombstone. In single tombstone photos, I like to see the detail of the stone, but I now realized you went for that High Contrast look and you did the right thing here...this photo rocks! Congrats

I absolutely love this - but the dodge/burn is a bit distracting. Maybe turn down the brush size in the future. Beautiful though 8
