Family Treeby ShutterPugComment: The saturation of color is way overdone to suite my eye. The composition is a bit harem scarem and doesn't really have a focal point for the eye to be drawn to. Hope this helps. |

sisterby kdeleonComment: The statuary is so dark that the details are kind of muddied. The sky is sort of monochromatic and doesn't have the punch you look for when it is a big part of the photograph. |

Just The Three Of Usby Mr_PantsComment: I wish the cans of hairspray weren't in the background and it was a tighter shot of the toothbrushes. Maybe a spotlight effect on the contents of the cup might've been a tad more interesting to the eye since the overall tone is kind of dark with little contrast. |

The Table is Setby northrop4Comment: This just doesn't grab me and want me to delve into it. Maybe the busy dish pattern along with the placemats and the wallpaper border is too busy for the eye to really take in. I'm looking for a focal point and I just wander around looking for it. Perhaps solid dishes with a single candle and dark lighting to bring some contrast and depth into view. |

Happy Birthday!by mar10029Comment: I wish this were a larger photo. The lighting is warm and natural but with the smaller size, we are losing the facial details that could really give this photo some WOW factor. |

I'm her mom, can I go home with you too?by XileboComment: The idea is quite sweet but with all of the background clutter, it is a bit too busy for the eye to really focus on the woman and the dogs. The details of her hands and face is good if it just had a different backdrop to show that off. |

The 4th is Quality Family Timeby bruskiComment: Reminds me of all the times I stood out on a hot pavement and burned my feet and fingers, playing with sparklers. Cool idea with the heart. The colors are nice, but considering the possibilities for the challenge, maybe not quite enough pizazz for my taste. |

That sea of shallow facesby strangeghostComment: This is just too overly staged for my taste. Yes it's a group and a family of masks, but just not my cup of tea. I won't fault you for a crisp clear photo, just lacks the oomph that I think this challenge can bring. Hope this is helpful. |

Rockpooling with dadby PixelstateComment: I wish this had a bit more punch to it. If the dad and child were closer together, you could zoom in and not have so much negative space imbetween. Just a thought. |

Gorillasby digitalpinsComment: I think this would be so much more powerful if you converted it to black and white and you could really up the contrast. With the rock and the animal fur being so much the same color, it all kind of blends together. The focus is nice and the lighting is well done, so maybe that might give it some PUNCH by applying a filter. Hope this is helpful.
