I cannot wait for this recipe, I love peaches and strawberries! The brightness of this shot makes it jump out but once you get here the sharpness is a bit much and the tabletop is very distracting being cut in half with color. I would have gone with all red on this one, the white ends up blowing the plate out and being distracting. I'm starting with a 6 on this one but I will be back.

Hey now! Are you that bad a cook? LOL! I know I can be! This is a good idea, the after effects of a great meal. This would have worked much better if you could have gotten more focus on the overall picture and for me, just one or two tablets would have really driven the point home, as they are, it's rather jumbled and confusing. I'm starting with a 6 but I will be back after dinner for some relief :)

A very unique way to present this. Not sure what it is but the coloring seems dark to me, the table it's on really takes away from the dessert glass and while the dessert may be tasty, overall this picture is not very appetizing. Skewing the shot to give it a different prespective is original but the fact that the contents of the glass are not leaning with the shot doesn't work very well for me. I'm giving this one a 5 for the unique approach, meeting the challenge without a doubt and the anticipation for the recipe. :)

On the grill, yummmmmmmm! They look delicious but the presentation leaves something to be desired. The shot is almost too filled and the grill ends up being a distraction to me. The cropping isn't bad but since you have T-Bone in the title, to see a completed one would have really drove the point home for m. THere's part of one here, part of one there, kinda jumbled to me. I'm starting this one at a 5 but I will be back.

Gimme, Gimme, GIMME! I love deviled eggs and these look delicious. Great presentation on the eggs and I can't wait to see the recipe. As for the balance, the off center doesn't really work for me personally and the background is a nice contrast but I'm almost wondering how a blue one would have looked. I'm starting this one at 6 but I'll be back to drool, er, vote again

Ah, a sweet onion perhaps? The colors actually work on this one. Though the blue in the upper right tends to be distracting. But making the colors like you did it could almost be a purple onion! The cropping is well done, the lines draw you from lower right to upper left and it almost makes me want to cry! ;) I'm starting this one at a 6

They do love the cookie dough, don't they! My girls used to actually stick their heads in the bowl to lick it, what a mess! :)

This is a lovely shot, a very big part of the baking/cooking process, having the kids involved and teaching them. I like the cropping, the picture looks a bit skewed, slightly off balance, I thnk it's the way te floor flows through the shot. The B&W works well with this shot, helps keep the background from becoming too distracting. A tad more sharpness, contrast and balance overall and I would score this much higher. Starting at a 5 but I will be back, I too cannot resist cookie dough.

Used in many different recipes, spagetti sauce being my favorite. The shotis a bit small though I do like the cropping, having the garlic just off center. The lines on the table help draw you in but the clarity is a bit lacking and the shadows are undefined towards the back left. I'm giving this one a 5, maybe if you had broken the garlic open or crushed it like you were getting ready to use it?

Yum, those look delicious! I've only had Cornish Hen once in my lifetime and it wad delicious too.

As for this shot, wow, very busy. Lots of different things going on. the hens, the plate, the background. The hens end up just blending into the shot instead of being highlighted. The light from the side is also a tad bright to me but that could be my monitor too. If there wasn't so much going on in the background I would rate this much higher, as is, it starts at a 5

My initital reaction on this shot is that it's too much, to bright, to white, too exposed! So of course it fits the challenge perfectly! The brightness on this shot works against you for my taste. The balance of light from the top to the bottom is too much. Starting with a 5, will be back to check again before the challenge is over.

I'm back and except for the brightness and the distracting tree in the upper right, I'm raising the score to 7

Hi! One more time, there is something about this shot that keeps me coming back for more. The thumbnail just keeps popping out and calling to me! I think it's the fact that I keep finding new little details everytime I look at it. I like that, keeps me looking. I'm going up another notch to an 8.
