Diet whip cream
wild blueberry and grape jam
peach/mango fruit bar (frozen)
More diet whip cream
concord grape on top

Second grape on the spoon.

I especially like how desaturating the colors brought forward the textures. Was too static at a straight angle so tipped camera, added spoon, (keep re-adjusting spoon) added second grape to hide overhead light reflection in spoon.

(yes I know the two bubbles makes a face in the desert, but I liked that too. Looks to me like the desert is about to eat the grape.) Maybe I should have done a tighter crop but I tend to second (and third) guess myself so leave this one for voting.

Pos .. I like the angle you took this picture at. The colors are nice, and the focus is great. Looks yummy! :D

Neg .. I think the curves need to be adjusted to brigthen it up a little. I'm not fussy on the spoon being there halfway in the frame.

hmm, you should work on the contrast perhaps.. could be my monitor, but this looks like a lot of the same gray

To me this picture needs to be a little brighter although I did enjoy that fact that it wasn't another pasta scene.

Needs more light - a great image except for the brightness.

Exposure is a bit off, I think.

This pic is kind of dark for me, and maybe with another background could be better... interesting crop anyway

I came back to edit my terrible English grammar :P

On the one hand, the tilt makes for a more exciting composition. But on the other - and this is the one that seems more important from my view - it makes the viewer a little dizzy, waiting for the dessert to slide off the table. The low-key treatment again makes a nice picture, but is confusing when applied to what should be a cheerful dessert rather than a sinister threat.

Nice idea, but need a little more lighting to brighten it up. Great angle and composition. Has a nice background. 5.

I would have prefered this a little lighter. The tilt is interesting.

A very unique way to present this. Not sure what it is but the coloring seems dark to me, the table it's on really takes away from the dessert glass and while the dessert may be tasty, overall this picture is not very appetizing. Skewing the shot to give it a different prespective is original but the fact that the contents of the glass are not leaning with the shot doesn't work very well for me. I'm giving this one a 5 for the unique approach, meeting the challenge without a doubt and the anticipation for the recipe. :)

Image seems too dark and I'm not liking the angle of the shot. Nevertheless, recipy looks delicious.

What is this? It looks desserty but.. are those olives? I like the off-kilter perspective, but I think more lighting on the subject, as well as a different background might have helped. It looks too dark to me - I have difficulties enjoying the layered look of the concoction because the lighting doesn't highlight that detail. 6

Looks good! a bit on the dark side, a boost of the contrast would have helped.

Could do with being exposed a bit more brightly to lighten up the scene.

Too low key for me. I think the tilt is OK, though most won't. You'll get killed over that, I'm sure. I'll go- 7

good shot, and technically sound, but its just missing something for me...i think that it could be brightened up a little to bring out the main subject.

Not a bad shot, really! The background just takes away the wow. Maybe try a white background.
